Ras Al Khaimah International Companies Ras Al Khaimah is one of seven emirates comprising the United Arab Emirates and as with other Emirates, Ras Al Khaimah maintains a Free Trade Zone in which international business can be conducted free of local taxes and regulations. Registered and bearer shares may be issued but bearer shares must be held in custody by a licensed registered agent. There is no minimum capital requirement. One unusual feature is that shareholders have the option to choose a law of another jurisdiction (such as BVI, UK or Delaware) to govern important aspects of company administration. Companies have the ability to trade in or own an interest in real property in the UAE. Corporate documents are produced in English. Zero taxes and duties. No Tax Information Exchange Agreement with any country. No public disclosure of information (information as to beneficial ownership and Directors must be filed with the RAKFTZ.)
